Rates & Insurance

Rates

Each therapist’s fee is listed on their bio page. These fees are based on their experience, specialties, and credentials.

We accept all major credit cards, Health Spending Accounts (HSA), and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA). You will be charged the day of your session. A credit card on file is required.

Our practice has a 24-hr cancellation policy. We require 24-hours notice to cancel your appointment without penalty. In the event you do not give 24-hr notice, you will be charged for the session. If we are able to reschedule your appointment within the same week, there is no penalty. We prioritize our clients by holding space for each person we see. When clients cancel an appointment, our clinicians offer that space to other clients who need an appointment that week. When clients cancel within 24-hours or no show, other clients miss out on an opportunity to be seen.

Insurance

We are a boutique style private pay practice. This means that we work for you not the insurance company. If you choose to use your insurance for counseling reimbursement we are an “out of network” provider.  This means at the time of your sessions we will charge the card on file for the full session fee. You will then receive, when appropriate, a Superbill or Statement for Reimbursement in your Client Portal once a month. You then submit this to the insurance company for reimbursement. The rates for reimbursement vary, which is why it is important to talk to your insurance company.

We choose to not bill insurance directly for several reasons, one being our belief that not everyone who seeks therapy needs a diagnosis. Please check with your insurance provider for specific details of your coverage. When appropriate we can provide you with a statement for reimbursement to submit to your insurance company.
