Bio
Kaitlin is the owner of KTW. As an Individual, Relational, and Sex Therapist she is well versed on many issues related to individuals, couples, families, sexuality, and gender. She is LGBTQAI-affirming as well as kink-aware and ENM/polyam-friendly. She specializes in multicultural/racial identity work, high-achieving ADHD folks, and interracial couples. She loves working with clients exploring the intersectionality of their identities.
Kaitlin is passionate about creating a space for clients that is safe, freeing and nonjudgmental. She hopes to do this through her multicultural background, interest in the client’s perspective and the therapeutic relationship built. Kaitlin operates from a systems and contextual orientation for which she believes clients are stuck, not sick. Kaitlin works with clients to create goals and plans that are collaborative and empowering. Clients appreciate that Kaitlin is empathetic, honest, direct, and has a sense of humor.
Along with her systemic training in therapy, she also has a background in the athletics world. As a former college athlete, Kaitlin is well versed in the sacrifice, struggles, and joys that come along with competing at a high level. She enjoys working with athletes competing on any level, as she is a strong believer that a successful athlete focuses on their mental health as much as their physical health.
Kaitlin is a proud member of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT).
